As many people just saw blond with hair chalking, so they are just assuming only blond hair can be chalked! Although if you have got blond hair, the chalking will be a little easier than dark hairs, because the blond hair can be easily colored with any hair chalk colors, for example, green, pink, blue, red, lime, light pink, light blue, etc. With dark hairs, you can also do this. The only difference is you need to select only the bright colors of chalk for your hair. Because some of the colors will not work very well on dark hairs. pink, blue, purple are perfect colors for dark hair. They will bring you exact high lights as same as blond hairs.
Another issue with chalking dark hair is that, they might not be that easy as chalking bond hairs. For example, for some blond hair chalking, you can just easily rub the soft pastel chalks to the hair, and the colors will be there. But for dark, brown hairs, you might need to wet your hair first before do chalking.

You may need to put more color in your hair if you have dark hair.7. Spray on hair gel or hair spray to help keep the color.8. Washes out with water.
